Ghana Food and Drug Authority strengthen laboratory testing capabilities

The chemistry laboratory at the GFDA recently obtained a radio receptor assay tool for testing veterinary drug and pesticide residues, mycotoxins and related contaminants. Local training for a number of personnel was concluded and instrument is in use. This provides another opportunity for interlaboratory comparisons, among other benefits.

Zimbabwe gets own Radio Receptor Assay to support residue testing

The Zimbabwe Central Veterinary Laboratory recently got equipped with a Charm II analyzer to support the rapid and broad spectrum screening of veterinary drug residues and related contaminants.
